A well-lighted, one‑eighth mile long walking path and a gazebo for rest and reflection are the key features of this park designed by Evan Terry Associates and developed for visitors and staff of the Medical Center.  The project was completed in the late 1990s as part of a larger scale landscape improvements program.

The Medical Center closed in 2008 due to financial difficulties.
